Finally, we are disclosing information on the first round of Your Earth DAO (YED) land sales to the public. If you are interested in experiencing the unique metaweb in a virtual reality economy, read carefully what Your Earth DAO NFT lands has in store for you.

In Brief

• Approximately 22,444 land spots under the Acent Metro District will be available for minting on September 6, 2022, starting at 11 AM (UTC) on the DAPPX NFT Marketplace via Immutable X. This will run for only 3 weeks until September 27, 2022. Take note that all lands can be traded live on Immutable X after it has been minted.

• There will be two types of land available:
  • Regular Land Spots  –  0.1 Eth/spot covering 20,679 land spots. Benefits: EDAO mining, ZEP mining, rent your spot to developers, or develop it yourself. 
  • Themed Spots – 0.3 Eth/spot covering 1,765 land spots. Benefits: 450% mining rate, progressive, and beautified lands to be developed by the Acent Core Team throughout the product maturity allowing owners to monetize these areas.

• Mine EDAO token for every spot of land. Owners of NFT land spots in Your Earth DAO can mine EDAO governance/utility tokens.

NFT Land Sales Details 

The preliminary guidelines pertaining to NFT sales are as follows:

1. Selling period 

The first round of Your Earth DAO NFT Land Minting Event will be on September 6-27, 2022 starting at 11AM (UTC). 

2. Selling price & Available Quantity 

This Season 1 we will initially release only 22,444 spots from the Acent Metro District distributed among the following: 

• Normal/regular land spot: 20,679 spots at 0.1 ETH/spot
• Themed spots: 1,765 spots at 0.3/ETH spot
  • NFT Zone : 630 spots available
  • Cyberpunk zone : 555 spots available
  • Play-to-earn zone : 580 spots available

3. Selling platforms

The YED NFT lands will be first available on DAPPX NFT Marketplace via Immutable X. We particularly use this platform to allow our users to mint the land with 0 gas fees. They can also trade all the lands back to Immutable X after it has been minted.

Limitless potential of a spot of land in Your Earth DAO

Your Earth DAO’s NFT land spot size is 27m x 27m and is your gateway to many exciting immersive meta-applications and income generating features of the metaweb. Each spot is designed to simulate a parallel reality web service on the Acent blockchain where there are no limitations of space and time. The different parcel types available in the YED are called as follows:

• SPOT: The smallest unit of land that can be bought or sold in the YED is called a “spot.” Its size is 27m x 27m of YED land.
• LOT: A combination of 3 x 3 spots of land is called a “lot.”
• ZONE: A combination of 9 x 9 spots of land is called a “zone.”
• DISTRICT: The biggest contiguous area of land in the YED is called a district, which consists of 27 by 27 spots.

Different types of land parcels in the YED

1. Regular spots – These are NFT land spots that require the owner’s effort to develop the land. Price of land is 0.1 ETH per spot. 
2. Themed Spots – These are high potential earning areas that are more expensive than the regular land spot, i.e.,0.3 ETH per spot.  Land spots on themed districts will always be one step ahead of the regular land .The Acent Core Team (a.k.a. Acent Foundation) will develop these lands throughout the product maturity and deploy features that will allow owners to monetize these areas. For instance, an NFT themed zone will be developed into an NFT themed park where NFT posting ads revenue can be generated. 

Benefits and Perks from Regular Spot of Lands

Aside from the typical selling of land in the NFT marketplace, owners of a  Regular spot of land, will be able to:

• Mine $ACE from the Metaweb Incubation Fund – the Metaweb Incubation Fund is a community incubation fund that aims to reward the Acent pledgers who own EDAO tokens. This can be mined over a period of 6 years on top of the Universal Basic Income (UBI) pool or earlier until all has been disbursed to the Acent pledgers; and many others.
• Mine EDAO tokens – EDAO is a protocol fee earning share and governance token that provides many rewards and privileges. For every regular land spot, owners can earn Acent by mining EDAO tokens. EDAO mining is halved every four years mimicking Bitcoin’s halving system promoting EDAO scarcity. The number of EDAO tokens that can be mined in a spot of land will depend on the available EDAO tokens distributed among the number of landowners for a particular minting period. 
• Plant Pylon NFTs and mine meta-resources – Pylon produces meta-resources that can be utilized to build NFT objects in the YED. Both Pylon and meta-resources can be sold and traded at any YED’s internal or external NFT marketplace; 
• Build – land spot owners may use their creativity to build business or use it as an innovative marketing platform for their products; 
• Land rent – rent a spot as you build a network of regular visitors or generate traffic to your land; 
• Mine Zero-point Energy Pylon (ZEP)  – a ZEP is a Pylon NFT that can only be mined and planted in the Acent Metro. It is capable of producing digital electricity or energy on its land to power meta-real estates throughout the metaweb. Both ZEP and digital electricity can be sold to meta-real estate owners and traded as commodities on the Acent DEX in the future. The amount of ZEP varies from 1 to 3. This value is randomized during the mining event at. 3% chance of minting 1 ZEP, 9% chance of minting 2 ZEP, and 88% percent chance of minting 3 ZEP per land spot;

In addition to all the benefits mentioned above, spots of land from Themed Districts will gain the following incentives:  

• mine 450%  EDAO tokens of regular land spots. $ACE mining is increased along with the increased EDAO ownership;
• collect rent from premium businesses develop by the Acent Foundation;
• ZEP mining bonus (more details on ZEP to be disclosed at a later date); and
• avail the premium monetization and ad services at a discount or higher priority access on meta-applications that you cannot develop yourself. 

Themed  spots will be developed by Acent Core Team (a.k.a. Acent Foundation) to showcase features and revenue generation models. Owners of themed district lands will gain first and premium access to metaweb features to test out powerful monetization features. For instance, the NFT District will be developed as a theme park to earn revenue for displaying and providing the following services:

• Public NFT posting for promotion,
• NFT ad services,
• NFT based theme parks,
• play-to-earn NFT activities,
• Paid NFT launchpads, and
• many others to come.

How does Your Earth DAO’s Acent Tokenomics help you earn more incentives?

Simply owning EDAO tokens entitles one to metaverse governance, and other benefits alongside the growth of the metaweb. For one, the EDAO tokens provide users the privilege of earning from the Universal Basic Income (UBI) pool. The UBI pool earnings are derived from the fees collected through the metaweb ecosystem.  

In a nutshell, EDAO token holders have the following benefits and privileges:

• receive incentives from the entire ecosystem fee collected in the UBI pool as they pledge their EDAO tokens;
• earn fro m trading EDAO tokens on the Acent DEX in the future; and
• participate in the key governance system of the YED such as submitting DAO proposals and voting on technical and administrative matters of the Your Earth DAO platform. 

Below is the new EDAO mining algorithm that is halved every four years, mimicking the Bitcoin miner rewards system. There is a fixed amount given out per year, distributed among the landowners who participated in the mining. The more miners, the more competition there is, hence, the scarcer the release per miner will be. This encourages mining of EDAO tokens as early as possible.

At the moment, there are 5.913 billion tokens allocated for meta-citizens. The 4 billion EDAO tokens will be made available for distribution to the landowners, while the remaining 1.913 billion will be put into reserve. The utilization of the reserve will be decided by the meta-citizens through the DAO.
